The Thai coffee (which makes up 50% of the blend along with Timorese and Ethiopian coffees) is shade-grown and organic, and we pay well above fair trade rates. The coffee has a nice spicy, full-bodied, richer roasted flavor. It has a muted acidity, making it a nice and smooth easy drink. Compared to the Single Origin La Mai, the blend is somewhat more complex and robust in flavour.
